Whether near or far you may want to send spooky greetings to family and friends this Halloween. Nothing is more fun than to make your own Halloween cards. From the cute to the scary there are Halloween cards for every age and every crafter’ability. If you are looking for a rainy day project on a day before Halloween or a way to fill those Halloween afternoon hours here are some ideas for Halloween greeting cards-
This scary paper spider web card is easy to make, using only glue and glitter on construction paper.
What you will need:
•Dark construction paper
•Glue
•Glitter
•Old newspaper (to work on)
Directions for the project-Fold a piece of dark construction paper in half. Working on old newspaper, draw a spider web with glue on the front of the card. Start by drawing a series of intersecting lines. After drawing the intersecting lines, draw the curved lines between them. Sprinkle glitter on the glue web. Gently shake the picture and let the excess glitter slide off the spider web (onto the newspaper). Let the glue dry completely. Draw a spider on the inside of the card and a spooky Halloween message.
