America’s Rain Forests

The America’s Rain Forest project is a unique effort to introduce 5-8 graders to the tropical and temperate rain forests in the United States. The free project provides a useful and fun website filled with teacher and kid activities and resources, and a live satellite broadcast from the rain forests in Puerto Rico and from Alaska.

It provides resources for students and teachers. The site features over 350 pages with images, each captioned with relevant natural or cultural information. Aims to inspire students and teachers by combining solid information with high-quality photos. Jungle Photos is rated kid-friendly with ICRA.
