Mona Lisa Video

March 27, 2007 -- From Beth, a reader, from Missouri, who is affiliated with the site.

This video of Leonardo da Vinci's 16th Century Masterpiece (the Mona Lisa) can be viewed at no charge. Vat19 has begun to offer a selection of free educational and instructional videos at no charge to make the content available to all who wish to view it. This video is a great resource and could also be used in a classroom as a visual aid. For anyone who has ever wondered, "Why is that painting so famous?", this video is a must-see.

Leonardo's Workshop

February 6, 2000 -- From Celeste Clevenger, a reader from Eastern Shore of Virginia who is not affiliated with the site

This is a wonderful site. My six-year old is constantly asking to play again. Someone has changed history and the player of the game needs to travel back in time to the Renaissance and explore Leonardo da Vinci's workshop in search of clues. Children can examine Leonardo's art and inventions and discover the spirit of the Renaissance while solving this interactive mystery. I was so surprised that my daughter was able to play this game by herself after we had played together a few times and that she remembered which inventions were Leonardo's

Science and Tecnology Museum "Leonardo da Vinci

December 26, 1999 -- From Claudio Giorgione, a reader from Milano, Italy who is affiliated with the site

An interesting site that describes several models from Leonardo sketches hosted by the museum. A section called "Virtual Leonardo" allows users to navigate inside the museum meeting other virtual visitors.
