April 11, 2007 -- From Crystal, a teacher, from Kansas City, Kansas, who is not affiliated with the site.
I use this in my classroom everyday. There is a different broadcast available each day. It is only about 10 minutes long (so it doesn't take too much time away from set instruction time) with interesting stories pertaining to national as well as international events. This site is most appropriate for grades 5th through 10th. My class always gets a good discussion going after viewing these segments, and the kids really seem to enjoy it. It's nice to have a "television" broadcast of a news program that is targeted towards kids.
