Here is a great site where you can find penpals from every continent there is. It's fabulous!

friend SHACK

October 10, 2006 -- From somewhatsmart, a reader, from London, England, who is not affiliated with the site.

This past summer after seeing the film 'Traveling Pants' I decided that I needed to improve my writing skills and embarked on a quest to find a penpal. I scoured many sites through Google and happily stumbled upon friend SHACK. What I liked about this site: it seems very secure (I never had to share my email address - they use an internal messaging service); there are people from over 120 countries and most seem somewhat intelligent (like me); and best of all, I managed to find just the penpal I was looking for. We've been writing now for 2 months. Thanks to this site - that's why I'm recommending it.

Kupika.com: cute anonymous penpals

August 25, 2006 -- From Aris, a reader, from Indonesia, who is affiliated with the site.

A free pen-pal service targeted at general audience (kids can also join). No personal information is required. You will have your own cute character. Since everyone is anonymous, you can safely use this website to practice your English or get some new friends -- but remember, never give your personal information to strangers!
