A great resource for pictures of all the U.S. presidents.

American Experience Online: Jimmy Carter

May 5, 2006 -- From Johanna Tschebull, a reader from Boston, who is affiliated with the site

American Experience Online is back with a presidential portrait of Jimmy Carter. Check out the Web site to learn more about Carter's boyhood, the Camp David negotiations, the Iranian hostage crisis, and Carter's post-presidential years. Twenty-two years ago he was overwhelmingly rejected by the American people. Today he is one of the most admired statesmen and humanitarians in the world. His rapid ascent in politics, dramatic fall from grace, and remarkable resurrection are the subject of "Jimmy Carter," a new presidential biography from American Experience airing on PBS Monday and Tuesday, November 11 and 12, at 9pm.

January 18, 2006 -- From Lauren Prestileo, a reader from Boston, MA, who is affiliated with the site

We've recently launched the site John & Abigail Adams, the companion site to the new documentary that will air on PBS, Monday, January 23. John and Abigail were an extraordinary pair-- sharing an inspiring love story and a revolutionary political partnership. The site introduces visitors to the "original power couple.

American Experience: The Kennedys

November 12, 2003 -- From Leslie Sepuka, a reader from Boston, MA, who is affiliated with the site

To mark the fortieth anniversary of John F. Kennedy's Assassination, American Experience reprises an Emmy Award-winning documentary on November 17 and 18, and premieres an all-new companion Web site. The documentary film and Web site are both part of American Experience's Peabody Award-winning Presidents series.

TeenGOV

TeenGOV is designed to teach teenagers (and adults!) the relationship between the branches of government, how they work together, and how they can become involved in the entire process.

The American Presidency: Glorious Burden
