American Experience Online is back with a presidential portrait of Jimmy Carter. Check out the Web site to learn more about Carter's boyhood, the Camp David negotiations, the Iranian hostage crisis, and Carter's post-presidential years. Twenty-two years ago he was overwhelmingly rejected by the American people. Today he is one of the most admired statesmen and humanitarians in the world. His rapid ascent in politics, dramatic fall from grace, and remarkable resurrection are the subject of "Jimmy Carter," a new presidential biography from American Experience airing on PBS Monday and Tuesday, November 11 and 12, at 9pm.

This is a history of Mount Rushmore along with reports on most of the presidents by 5th grade students. This project has been fun for both myself, as the designer, and the students who each day have looked to see if their project was up yet. It has given them a feeling of part ownership in the project.
