I stumbled on this site while searching for kids safe websites. The site has a kid/parent friendly internet radio station, movie reviews, game reviews and homework help. There is also a summer reading list for kids. The site seems to cater mostly to tweens. I plan on having my kids checkout this site.

This is an excellent site where you can hear to any songs of any time from Bollywood(India). Its infrastructure is also good and allows free downloads.

The Blues is a comprehensive multi-media project to raise awareness of the blues and its contribution to American culture and music worldwide. The Web site complements the PBS film series and extends the personal vision of each of the series seven directors by offering in-depth historical context to the music, musicians and geographical locations introduced in each of the films.
