Mental math is growing in popularity and most schools now include mental math lessons as part of the curriculum. But how can you help your kids pass their mental math exams with ease, develop a real head for numbers, and even learn to enjoy math? Mental Math Master contains many free tutorials to show anyone how to add, subtract, multiply, divide, figure percentages, fractions and decimals, all without using a calculator or paper and pencil.

This is probably the best science/sports site that I have seen! It presents every aspect of soccer in an understandable, scientific, and hilarious manner. Kids (and adults) can't help but learn as they read this site. Parents, coaches, teachers, kids, and Barbara...DON'T miss this one!

This does not focus so much on the math aspect of the golden ratio as it does on the more human aspects. There is a glossary to help younger kids along with more difficult terms, but for the most part, the site is for late elementary aged students and up. The section on aesthetics and the golden ratio is especially strong, relating the principles of the number to architecture such as the Great Pyramids of Egypt.

Internet Learning Network offers voluntary, no-risk self-assessments in science and math with real-time results that are benchmarked to the results of students worldwide. The site has science and math sections in two pathways: a practice path that is fun and learning-oriented, and the REAL Challenge that simulates a test environment. The ILN also provides learning opportunities, with hints and links to other sites to help you get smarter!

Students can find free homework help and lessons. Teachers can find lesson plans and great classroom resources. Parents can access information about family math activities and math products. And it's not all serious stuff - we have pages of cool math stuff, interactive math applets, and puzzles.
