Hi. I wanted to share this site I came across called KidRex.org. It's a kid-safe Google search. It's really cute and I love the whole crayon effect!

SchoolTube.com is a safe video website for K-12 students and teachers. All videos are student produced and teacher approved. There are over 70 categories, so there is something for everyone.

While nosing around the internet with my four year old, I ran across this fun scavenger hunt for kids. The hunt asks for questions that can be found on other kid-friendly websites.
With my reading help, my son had no trouble finishing the search. My 9 year old also participated and thought it was really cool!

Scholastic has wonderful activities for children, teachers and parents. I find that it is very useful when we research projects or want to do an author's study. The teacher tools are practical, easy to use and useful.
