Awesome to see whales live in their natural habitat. If you can't see them, sometimes you can listen to them communicate with each other. There are above water and underwater views of them when they are near. You can also subscribe so that when whales are near the cameras, they will email you an alert.

The Webcast and learning campaign are available to Ocean Futures members only, but membership is free to all. Those interested in participating in the Webcast and learning more about the oceans can join online.

WhaleNet is an educational site funded by NSF that uses actual whale research data and satellite tagging data in real-time to enhance interst in math and science. We receive about 35,000 hits a day during the academic year from over 130 countries. Site includes images, maps, movies, educational resources from students and educators.
