  • We are always on the lookout for great kid sites and we found one here. The author is a syndicated newspaper columnist with several major papers across the country. Her site is easy on the eyes, very easy to navigate, and the content is most worthwhile. Some of her past feature subjects have been Apollo II, Creative Cats, Wind Power, and Soccer Fun. Her site is set up for parents, kids, teens, grandparents, teachers, and the incurably curious. We love the way she describes herself, "columnist, mother, wife, and Net surfer supreme, not listed in order of importance of course". This is a run to and bookmark site.Frank Severa

  • Congratulations! Your web page has been selected to receive the "FLY WITH EAGLES" award presented by HART Enterprises. This award was implemented because in 1984, as the result of an accident while serving as an officer on active duty with the US Army, I became a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chest down. In a veterans hospital for 10 months, I was among many young men struggling to put a sense of worth back into their lives. I always admired our national symbol, the bald eagle, for its strength, courage and beauty, and its ability to soar on the slightest of winds. It was what those of us in the hospital were trying to do - muster up the strength and courage to live our lives with the least amount of help. Now I am in a position financially, physically, and spiritually to recognize others for their efforts. Thus, the "Fly With Eagles" award was born. We surf the net looking for worthy web pages. And, in some cases, web pages are recommended to us. Your respect for proper NET ETHICS and your ability to display your web page in a LOGICAL, INFORMATIVE, and CREATIVE format places you among only a handful of web masters that have received this award. • I was very impressed by all the hard work you have put into the site and have to congratulate you on an outstanding achievement in web site design, both in appearance and content. I would much rather be succinct and just say WOW, but I just wanted to let you know that it has been a long time since I reviewed a site as informative and well designed as yours. A wonderfuly diversified family site and a definite pleasure to visit... Ben Ciolczynski

  • Barbara Feldman is an American newspaper columnist who specialises in reviewing creative and educative children's web pages. In her own index site, she shares her "vision of what's wonderful on the web". She's got good vision, too. A wide range of topics span word games to paper airplanes. Links whisk kids to poetry workshops while taking parents to CD-ROM reviews. The graphics aren't high tech, but the content is high text. Perfect for new-to-the-net parents and their three- to thirteen-year olds. BBC Online Web Guide
