BR Anchor Publishing has selected the Surfing the Net with Kids website to be included in our revised edition of "Let's Make A Move!" This story/activity book is for young children who are moving to a new city. We believe that your website provides an excellent means for children to research the geography, history and people of their new city/state.

Barbara,
Thank you for continuing to provide incredible information to surfers on the
Net.
We placed your site in our kids book (300 Incredible Things for Kids on the
Internet)
over two years ago and I always recommend the site and newsletter when I do
my
radio interviews.
Keep up the incredible job!

Glad to hear you are being recognized even internationally. I knew it
would come as you are so consistently able to pick sites that are worth
checking into. Not a kid myself (almost 80) but able to enjoy the
clever things you find. Don't know how you do it.
A fan....

I LOVE your newsletter. It is so clever and worthwhile. My kids
are 12 and 8. I am a clinical social worker and hubby is a high school teacher.
These are instructive and educational and enjoyable topics. Thank You Barbara Fritz

Your column is supposed to be for "kids". I guess I am a 70 year old
"kid" because I have surfed with your recommendations since I learned
how to use the computer. Many thanks for all
your recommendations. Barbara Buhrer

Parents, Surfing the Net with Kids,
is the Web equivalent of the kids' version of TV Guide that you always
wished for but never had. Barbara Feldman--a syndicated columnist,
former computer consultant, and mother of two--chooses a new kid-safe,
kid-savvy site every day. Because she's been doing this for some time
now, she has hundreds of sites archived in sensible, easy-to-navigate
categories. In the future, we'll probably use this resource to find
(and then tip you off to) the occasional outstanding kids site. But
don't wait for us.

Called "Surfing the Net with Kids," it is the online
vision of Barbara J. Feldman and what she feels is wonderful to experience on the Internet. ... The amount and variety of material here is truly wonderful. This site is a great place to explore and poke around. There is such a wide range of material here that there is truly something for everyone. Be sure to sign up for the free email column as well. Enjoy this site, I sure did.

Today Yahoo! listed "Surfing the Net with Kids" as a Daily Pick on their What's New page (right along with WD-40 and Dunkin Donuts.) Of course, we all know I'm not new, but if Yahoo! wants to call me "new" that just fine with me!
