What is FOMO?

In a recent survey by MyLife.com, 51% of respondents reporting checking social networks more frequently than they did two years ago, and 56% say they experience “fear of missing out” (FOMO) if they don’t check their social networks regularly. In a similar vein, 52% have taken or are considering taking a break from one or more social networks. Is social media addiction driving us crazy? What do you think?
