Share Short Links with Bit.ly

by Barbara J. Feldman on November 24, 2010

Do you love to share links with friends and family? The link-shortening service Bit.ly has just announced a new service that bundles a bunch of urls into one, short Bit.ly link. Link shorteners have been around for years, but with the growth of social media sites including Twitter and Facebook, they have become even more popular. To use the new Bit.ly service, simply type in your URLs in the Bit.ly input form. Each one will get its own short Bit.ly link, then click the “Bundle” button to create a link to a composite link page. Here’s a Bit.ly bundle I created that links to three of my family-friendly sites: Surfnetkids.com, FreeKidsColoring.com and JokesByKids.com.
