1 egg white
1¼ Cups confectioners’ sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Beat 1 egg white until stiff but not dry; add 1¾ cups sifted confectioners’ sugar, ¼ teaspoon vanilla; blend well. Stir in few drops water until mixture is right consistency for spreading. To pipe through decorating tube, add a little more sugar. Makes about 1 cup white frosting.
For colored frostings: To small amounts of white frosting add a few drops of food coloring to make green wreaths, red berries, etc.
