You can turn your Christmas tree into a sweet treat with this homemade ice cream cone kid’s ornament made with a real sugar cone. This works best for older kids to do since there is a lot of gluing involved. <\/p>\n

What you will need:<\/em><\/p>\n

•3-4″ Red satin ball ornament with hanger attached
•Sugar cone
•Cotton batting
•Glue or hot glue gun
•Glitter<\/p>\n

Instructions for the project:<\/u> The first step is to glue a 3-4″ diameter red satin ball ornament to a sugar cone. Add the cotton around juncture between cone and ball and on top of ball with glue. Let dry completely. Using thinned glue add the glitter to the top of the satin ball and throughout the batting. Let dry completely. You can then use the hanger from satin ball extending through cotton fluff on top to hang from tree. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
