Bible Prophet Crafts

Wood and ceramic paintings. There are several web sites that have to do with religious and especially bible crafts. There are also many religious stores that you can buy small or large wooden or ceramic crafts to paint and use as part of your lesson. Some places will even special order them for you. So if you have a specific bible prophet in mind, Elijah, Daniel, or another bible prophet you can sometimes special order pieces to paint either in the classroom or at home to just take and use as part of your lesson.

Bible prophet cross stitch patterns. You may not be able to find these in your local craft store but it is possible to find cross stitch patterns of bible prophets. There are several places online that specialize in making orders for cross stitching needs. A cross stitch may not be something you can do in a class during the lesson as most of them take more time than that, but if you’re studying a bible prophet for longer than a week you may be able to work on it as you study to help supplement a later lesson.

Sewing Projects. You can also come up with some great sewing projects that have to do with Bible Prophets. For example, if you’re working on learning about Daniel and the Lion’s den you could (as a supplement to your lesson) work on a cute lion quilt. There are several different ways to make quilts, so you could find some cute fabric with lions on it and either tie the quilt, sew it, or work on a patch work quilt with several different patches of fabric. It can be something that you work on every week as you continue to study about the prophet.

Kid Crafts. There are also a lot of kid’s crafts you could use as you study the prophets in the bible. Some that come to mind that are fairly easy yet still make the lesson fun are hand puppets, stick puppets and masks. You can use just about any bible prophet you can think of to make into a puppet or mask. Kids love them and can pretend play with them reciting scriptures and stories they know about them.

You can really take any craft you can think of and turn it into something that fits in with bible prophets. With so many prophets to choose from, and so many different crafts, it should be fairly easy. Good luck.
