Thankful Turkey

Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

As thanksgiving is typically the time of year when we think of turkeys, you can make a turkey that helps you to think about and remember the things that you are thankful for. To make a Thankful Turkey, simply use a round piece of paper or even a paper plate as the body for the turkey. Decorate a smaller circle in the middle for the turkey head. Cut out feather shapes (an elongated oval will work) and leave space on the wings to write things that you are thankful for. Have your child write one thing that they are thankful for on each of the wings, or have the whole family contribute one wing to the bird.
