Because your teenager has more advanced cutting and gluing skills then younger children you can look at crafts that have more detail. One of these types of crafts would be a homemade wreath. This craft can be made very easily. There are many different ways to make a wreath this one has carnations. You will need fake carnations in greens and whites of various sizes. Big flowers cover more space and make the craft a little easier. You will also want to purchase fake baby’s breath for filler around your wreath and some cute Irish type ribbon either in a big width or small. You may want to buy the whole spool to make ribbons to put on your wreath. For the wreath itself you can buy the plain foam that is already shaped or any other type of undecorated wreath you can find. Then you can glue on all your carnations to the wreath or if it is foam you could push some of the wires from the flowers into the foam. Add the baby’s breath in areas that look sparse and then follow up with a big ribbon on the top or bottom. This wreath is great for your teenager’s bedroom door or a college dorm room. There are so many variations you can do with this craft that it should be easy to find something for any teenager.
