Scrapbooking has become one of the most popular past times in America and around the world today. With so many holidays, birthdays, and special occasions there are literally thousands of gift ideas for scrapbookers out there to choose from. It can be quite tricky however, finding the right gift for a scrapbooker since every scrapbooker’s needs will vary, but here are some great gift ideas for scrapbookers to start your search with.

•Scrapbook Tote. If you know someone that has a lot of scrapbooking supplies and materials but is a little disorganized because they have no where to keep their stuff then a scrapbook tote is the perfect gift for them. What better way to show an unorganized scrapbooker that you really care than to give them something they can really use. The nice thing about scrapbook totes is that not only can you use them to store all your stuff but they come in really hand if you have to take things to a class or to a scrapbook party. They come in different sizes, colors, and prices though so you might need to do a little research on which one will work best for your gift.

•Scrapbooking classes. I’m not sure that any scrapbooker would pass up the chance to attend a scrapbooking class. Scrapbooking classes vary from showing scrapbookers how to use different tools to showing them how to use and apply different scrapbooking techniques. Most classes also offer some free or discounted product and a take home craft as well so it’s really a win-win situation for everyone who attends. Classes are also a great way to get involved with a scrapbooking community of others who enjoy doing the same things. So if you’re thinking a scrapbooking class might not be enjoyable then you might want to re-think that idea.

•Magazine subscriptions and Idea books. Magazine subscriptions are always a great idea to give as a gift because there are so many ideas you can find in them. The typical scrapbook would probably be thrilled to receive a magazine every month full of new ideas. Some magazine subscriptions even come with DVD’s each month packed with different fonts and how to videos. And if you’re not sure about a magazine subscription then try going to a craft store to just pick up some idea books. You can’t really ever go wrong with idea books because almost every scrapbooker is searching for new and creative ideas. You can get themed books that focus on specific things like vacations or babies, or just about anything you can think of.

•Disposable supplies or embellishments and accessories. Every scrapbooker will appreciate the thought of buying them more supplies. Nothing lasts forever, so if you can supply them with more adhesives, tape, scissors, etc. they will most certainly appreciate the thought. Along with supplies you can also by them some cute embellishments to go along with their pages. It might take a little snooping but look in their books to see what they’re working on and then buy some cute embellishments and accents that will work with their pages. They’ll be astounded that you even cared enough to look not to mention the fact that scrapbookers love embellishments.

•Cardstock and paper. You can’t ever have enough paper to work with when you discover the world of scrapbooking so buying some plain cardstock to use as backing on photos, or packs of designed, patterned, or plain paper is always a nice gesture and great gift idea. If you aren’t sure what paper they will like try looking for the pre-assembled packets from your craft store.

With so many gift ideas for scrapbookers out there you’re bound to find something they will love and most definitely use.
