•Colored cardstock for the flower
•Contrasting card stock for the center of the flower

•green acrylic paint
•natural raffia in green
•craft glue
•hot glue gun

Instructions for the project: Print out or trace your flower pattern twice on the colored cardstock. Cut both of the flowers out. Cut 1 circle out of the contrasting cardstock to fit the center of the flower. Bend the petals of one of the flowers inward. Glue the circle (made from the contrasting card stock) in the center of that flower. Glue the flower with the bent petals onto the flat flower. Be sure to turn the top flower so that all of the petals can be seen. Paint the stick green and let it dry. The paint should dry within a few minutes. Then you will hot glue the dried stick to the back of the flower. Cut a piece of raffia for the bow on the flower. Knot the raffia onto stick just underneath the flower.
