Besides the thrill of a good game and the glory of winning this feeling is what so many of us play sports for. One of the reasons why sports clothing is so popular is that it expresses a sense of the communal. A sports jersey, for example, identifies a person as belonging to a particular family of fans. Even for those not playing on the team, participation in any way feels like being in the game.<\/p>\n

A recent trend in fashion can be used with a love of sports to create a unique expression of team solidarity. Lots of people these days are making friendship bracelets to express how they feel about a particular friend. The two friends get together and make the bracelets, designing them with particular colors of thread and in a host of different styles. The unique finished product is designed to express something about the friendship. It also proclaims that the two people are good friends and not ashamed of the fact. Making friendship bracelets can thus be a great way of expressing and building a friendship.<\/p>\n

When you combine the camaraderie of sports with the friendship bracelet you have a winning combination. There is no reason why your friendship bracelet needs to use team colors or logos. If there is some other way to express your sports based friendship do so. Think of unique designs and colors that say something about the sport. There is no reason to simply use colored thread when making the bracelet. You can use any material you want for a friendship bracelet. If your favorite sport is basketball, for example, make your bracelets from pieces of an old basketball.
