Scrapbookers are finding a natural foray into card-making using their scraps of paper and rubber stamps to create one of a kind cards. Whether you have scrapbooking experience or this will be your first card this cheery Christmas card is easy to put together with only a few supplies from your local craft store. <\/p>\n
What you will need: <\/em><\/p>\n Cardstock for the card (any color will do) Instructions for the project: <\/u> Begin by cutting the cardstock for your card into an 8 \u00c2\u00bd x 5 \u00c2\u00bd inch shape. Fold the card in half. This will be the base of your card. Cut one piece of coordinating cardstock into a 1 \u00c2\u00bd x 5 \u00c2\u00bd inch strip. Glue the strip horizontal across the front of your card. Use your computer to print a holiday message on the other piece of coordinating cardstock. Make sure that your message is no bigger than 1 x 5 \u00c2\u00bd inches. Cut out around your message and glue onto the top of the strip that is already on top of your card. (If you do not have access to a computer you can hand print or use letter stickers to do your holiday message.) Punch the brad through the top of your card next to your holiday message.
