It is these crafts that preschoolers love to do because it gives them that independent feeling. Here are some great craft ideas for preschoolers; you can also do them with children who are bit older.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>Styrofoam &#038; Drinking Straw Puppets<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\t<u>Materials<\/u><\/p>\n<p>\tClean Styrofoam trays &#8211; if you can find coilored trays they make for great puppets<br \/>\tScissors<br \/>\tDrinking straws<br \/>\tPens, gel pens, or markers<br \/>\tTape<br \/>\tGoogly eyes<br \/>\tConstruction paper to make the details for the face<br \/>\tGlue stick <\/p>\n<p>\t<u>Instructions<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\t<\/p>\n<li>Go to http:\/\/www.enchantedlearning.com\/crafts\/puppets\/styrostraw\/ to print out the template for the butterfly puppet or you can draw it freehand<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tClean a Styrofoam tray with warm water and detergent<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tUse a pen and trace the template of the butterfly onto the Styrofoam tray or draw the butterfly outline yourself<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tCut out the butterfly<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tFor the details of the butterfly draw them with a pen or cut them out of construction paper and glue them to the Styrofoam butterfly<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tMake sure to glue on your googly eyes<\/li>\n<p>\t<\/p>\n<li>\tTape the back of your Styrofoam butterfly to the end of a drinking straw<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the hardest things about crafts is that some of them require a lot of adult help, but there are some out there that require a limited amount of help.
