Why bother with real fish in a fish bowl when you can make this fun craft? This craft is good for ages 3 years old and up. <\/p>\n

What you will need: \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n <\/ul>\n Instructions for the project:<\/u> Cut a small piece off of one edge of the paper plate. The first step is to paint the top side of the paper plate blue. This will be the fish bowl full of water. Then you can paint the back side of the small piece of paper plate a different color. This will be the bottom “stand” of the fish bowl. Glue the stand piece to the bottom of the fish bowl. Remember that the straight edge that you cut is the top of the fish bowl. Cut a few fish shapes out of the craft foam. Just make them whatever size and color you like and make sure they will fit inside the fish bowl! Glue a wiggle eye onto each fish. You can then use dimensional paint to decorate your fish if you want to. When you glue your fish to your fish bowl, you will want them to look like they are swimming freely. To accomplish this, cut 3 small scraps from your craft foam for each fish you have. Decide where you want the fish to be in the fish bowl, and glue a stack of 3 craft foam pieces on top of each other.
