What you will need:<\/em><\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n \t<\/p>\n <\/ul>\n Instructions for the project: <\/u>Start by tracing around your child’s hand with their fingers together and their thumb sticking out onto an old file folder. This is your basic mitten. Then you will need to cut it out and do the same thing for the other hand to make a set of mittens. Carefully punch a hole in the top of each mitten so you will be able to hang it when complete. Spread some white glue completely on each of the mittens. A Popsicle stick will work well for this, but you can also just use your finger. Then you are ready to use the scrap yarn to create pattern on your mitten. The idea is to completely cover the entire surface of the mitten and to make it look like a real knitted mitten. Let the glue dry completely when your pattern is done, then put a piece of yarn through both holes punched in step two to make a hanger.\t<\/p>\n
