\"Smore\"<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Supplies needed:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Skewers. <\/strong>The wooden skewers you use to make shish-kabobs on your grill will work just fine. You do not want them to be too long; ones that are about 12 inches are ideal.<\/p>\n

Tea light candles. <\/strong>Get unscented candles. These are cheap and come in bulk, and have the little tin that holds the wax.<\/p>\n

Your flower pot with the drip tray.<\/strong> For this craft you do not just need the pot, but the little saucer like drip tray that you set the pot on top of.<\/p>\n

Marshmallows.<\/strong> Small or large, it really does not matter, but the full size ones tend to work better.<\/p>\n

Graham crackers. <\/strong>You will want two or three Graham Crackers, and you will want to break them in half. Adjust number based on how many kits you intend to make.<\/p>\n

Chocolates.<\/strong> A Hershey’s candy bar will work just fine.<\/p>\n

Black paint.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Baggies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To make a S’more maker flower pot craft, you want to start by painting your flower pot with the words, “S’mores” or “My little campfire” or anything else that denotes that this is your tool for making gooey, delicious, campfire treat s’mores. Decorate it as elaborately, or as simply as you want. The main function of the pot is storage, so painting it is not going to hurt it at all, or make it unusable.<\/p>\n

The next thing you are going to want to do is put together the S’more ingredients in a little baggie. You will want to include one whole graham cracker that is broken in half so that you have two pieces. You will want to put in a whole candy bar, and 3-4 marshmallows. Seal the bag up so that the ingredients do not get stale. If you want to conserve money, open the candy bar and only use half of it, and put it in the bag with the other ingredients.<\/p>\n

Your next step is you are going to put the bag of ingredients into the flower pot, along with one tea light candle, and the skewer. With the following instructions given verbally to the recipient, or typed up and put in the bag with the s’more maker.<\/p>\n

To use, set drip tray on table, light tea light candle and put in the middle of the drip tray. Use the skewer to skewer marshmallows and roast over your safe indoor flame. Once roasted to your liking, stack s’more with graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallows, and more graham cracker. Then eat and enjoy.<\/p>\n

You then use the pot to store your ingredients and tools for the next time you want delicious s’mores made right at home.<\/p>\n

This is a fun craft that kids really get into as it has a tasty ending, and makes for a great, creative, and yummy gift for their friends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
