Sometimes the play dough you create isn&#8217;t always safe for your kids to eat as it may contain peanuts or it can also contain many other ingredients that are harmful to ingest like baking soda. The safety of the play dough you use for your kids can be controlled by the ingredients that you decide to use. If you don&#8217;t want your kids to eat the play dough, there are some recipes that will make them spit out the play dough because it&#8217;s overly salty or just tastes terrible. By discouraging your kids to taste the play dough, you can hopefully avoid dealing with it in the future multiple times. Toddlers on the other hand aren&#8217;t likely to be as receptive to hearing that they shouldn&#8217;t eat the play dough and they may end up wanting to eat it anyhow. Here are some edible play dough recipes for toddlers so you won&#8217;t need to worry about them eating the play dough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frosting Play Dough<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1 Can Frosting (choose any flavor you like)<br \/>\n\u2022 1 \u00bd Cups Powdered Sugar<br \/>\n\u2022 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter<\/p>\n<p>Use a large mixing bowl and blend together all the ingredients. You will want to mix them until they stick together well and they are able to reach the desired consistency of your choice. In order to make the play dough last longer you should store it in a Rubbermaid container and put it in a refrigerator. It will become harder in the fridge so you will need to bring it out and let it warm up to room temperature before your kids play with it.
