Fairy crafts are fun because of all the imagination and creativity that takes place while a project is being worked on. What’s more is that it is nearly impossible to make a fairy craft the wrong way. Being unique is part of what makes a fairy project whimsical. There are too many fairy craft ideas to name them all. Here are just a few ideas for fairy crafts that will get your imagination going.<\/p>\n
For the Tooth Fairy<\/strong><\/p>\n The most famous of all fairies has got to be the tooth fairy. Most kids are introduced (figuratively of course) to the tooth fairy after losing their first tooth. Kids have a natural curiosity for how it is that a small fairy is to come into their room, take the tooth and leave a coin. It is a lot of fun to play off of this curiosity by making a craft that is centered on the tooth fairy.<\/p>\n Two popular tooth fairy inspired crafts are to make a pillow and to make a tooth storage bag. Both crafts involve fabric, fabric glue or someone who can sew, some stuffing for the pillow and a pair of scissors. For the pillow, all that you do is cut two identical shapes out of your fabric (you can cut out the shape of a tooth, a coin, a star, or any other “tooth fairy like” shape). Secure the two pieces of fabric together, but only on three of the four sides, by sewing or gluing them so that the pillow bag will have to be turned right side out when the sewing is done or the glue has dried. Turn your pillow the right side out so that any mistaken seams or glue globs are all concealed on the inside of the pillow and stuff the pillow through the side that you have left open. You can use batting, feathers, fabric scraps, or anything else that would be comfortable to lay your head on. Sew or glue the opening together and wait for the glue to dry. Making a tooth bag for the tooth fairy uses the same steps. Cut your two identical shapes and glue or sew them together on three of the four sides. When you are done or the glue is dry, turn the bag right side out. You can add embellishments like a ribbon strap if you like, or you can decorate the bag with fabric paints.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
