Confetti is a fun way to add excitement and color to any party. You can make your own confetti poppers from paper bags. Simply gather the pieces that you will use as your confetti. You could use short bands of streamers (roll them up first for a fun effect), scraps of paper, glitter, feathers, and anything else that you think might look festive when thrown in the air. Put your confetti items in the bag and with the top of the bag held mostly closed, make sure that there is a good amount of air in the bag by blowing into the bag. Tie off the bag tightly so that no air can escape. When it is time to pop your bag of confetti, hold the bag securely with one hand and strike it forcefully with the other. If all works out right your bag should pop, sending all of your confetti into the air.
