If you love birds, this is a great craft for you! It’s always fun to watch birds come to your home and splash around in a birdbath. Here are a few items you will need to create your birdbath:<\/p>\n
16 or 14 inch clay pots
16 or 18 inch clay saucer
Acrylic paint (any color you like)
Clear acrylic spray sealer or polyurethane sealer
Liquid nails, silicone adhesive or heavy duty outdoor glue<\/p>\n
Start by wiping down your clay pots and saucer with a damp cloth and allow them to dry. Paint the pots with any color of acrylic paint. You can decorate the birdbath with different designs or stencil art. Allow them to dry and then glue the clay pots together. Place the larger pot upside down and glue the smaller pot to it. Liquid nails or heavy duty outdoor glue works well. Then, glue the clay saucer to the top of the smaller clay pot. Spray all the pots with acrylic sealant and allow them to dry. Be sure to coat it 3 or 4 times to prevent damage. Now you have a beautiful birdbath to display and watch cute birds bath in.<\/p>\n
