For many kids (and grown ups too!) making a craft project is just not fun unless there is a treat in the end. If your crafters want to make their craft and eat it too these ideas are for you. Whether you have budding crafters, chefs or kids who just want to have fun you may want to try one of these ideas for an edible craft. They are easy to make, lots of fun and best of all you get to have a tasty reward when you are finished. So if you are looking to satisfy the crafters and their tummies try making one of these edible crafts-<\/p>\n

Coffee Can Ice Cream-<\/strong>You will never believe that crafting a batch of homemade ice cream can be so much fun! You simply grab the kids, two coffee cans, ingredients for the ice cream and roll away!<\/p>\n

What you will need:<\/em><\/p>\n

•2 clean metal cans, both with lids (make one can larger than the second)
•1 cup of very cold whole milk or cream
•1 cup sugar
•1 tsp vanilla
•1 tbs chocolate syrup
•Ice
•Salt <\/p>\n

Instructions for the project-<\/u>Place the ice cream mixture in the smaller coffee can (make sure it’s clean) and seal with the lid on tightly. Place the smaller can in the larger can. Pour the ice and salt around the smaller can making sure it is more or less in the center. Seal the larger can with its lid tightly and roll it around for about a half hour. This process works great if you are involving the kids. Have them sit on the floor and roll the can between them.
