Fill your candy jars with alternating colors. One candy that works particularly well for this candy sand art project is pixie sticks. In case you are unaware of what a pixie stick is, a pixie stick is a candy that is packaged in a paper straw. The candy looks like sand but it is actually granulated and flavored sugar.
