Pine cones are a crafter’s best friend, especially when it comes to making bird crafts. A pine cone, when laid on its side, makes a perfect bird body shape. To make this craft start by collecting a pine cone that you think will make a good looking bird. Use a piece of felt or construction paper to cut out a pair of feet that you will then glue to the bottom (when the pine cone is on its side) of the bird body. Continue cutting out a shape for the head, feathers, eyes, etc. Using hot glue to attach all of the parts to the bird will work out well. You could even be creative with what materials you use for the construction of this bird.
