Everybody knows what you do when Easter time rolls around:\u00a0 we dye eggs.\u00a0 But, let\u2019s be honest:\u00a0 how boring are dyed eggs?\u00a0 They all end up looking exactly the same.\u00a0 And just plain blue and green and pink eggs are, let\u2019s admit it, pretty boring.\u00a0 But you don\u2019t have to fall into the same old Easter time rut this year.\u00a0 Instead, try this different twist on the regular run-of-the-mill Easter eggs if you want a no-mess, no-spill run on the traditional Easter egg decor.\u00a0 This particular spin on Easter eggs is particularly good if you have little kids over, but you don\u2019t want to risk anything really bad happening to your carpet or to your table or to your counter tops.<\/p>\n

\nMaterials needed for tissue paper Easter eggs:<\/em>
\n1.\u00a0 hard boiled eggs (as many as you want!)
\n2.\u00a0 Numerous squares of tissue paper in bright colors.\u00a0 A good size of tissue paper is 1.5\u201d squares.\u00a0 These should be fresh sheets of tissue paper, not ones that you have used for other craft projects!
\n3.\u00a0 Either a spray jug of water to spritz the eggs, or a small bowl of water to dip the eggs in.<\/p>\n
\n1.\u00a0 Take one egg.\u00a0 Either spritz the egg with water or dip the egg in water in order to get the egg all wet.
\n2.\u00a0 Now pick up the squres of tissue paper.\u00a0 Place the tissue paper around the egg one square at a time.\u00a0 Overlapping different colors and different squres of tissue paper will give you a cool layered look to your eggs, so feel free to experiment all you want.\u00a0 It would also look pretty stunning to have different shades of the same color on the same egg.
\n3.\u00a0 If the tissue paper does not get totally wet, then you should spritz the egg once again with water.
\n4.\u00a0 After you have finished placed the tissue paper around the egg, place the egg aside in a small bowl or an empty and clean margarine container in order to let the egg dry completely.
\n5.\u00a0 While the egg is drying, the tissue paper will fall off of it.\u00a0 However, the colors will remain on the egg.\u00a0 And so you are left with a beautiful egg that looks like a stained glass window!<\/p>\n
\n1.\u00a0 Place the Easter eggs in a large pot.\u00a0 Keep them all on one level, and don\u2019t level the eggs.\u00a0 If necessary, use more than one pot, or boil the eggs in several batches in order to make it easier to handle them.
\n2.\u00a0 Now, pour water over the egg until covers the eggs by about one inch.
\n3.\u00a0 Place the pot on the stove, and turn the stove on high.\u00a0 Bring the water to a rolling boil.
\n4.\u00a0 Let the water boil for 12 minutes.
\n5.\u00a0 Now, remove the eggs from the heat and immediately remove the eggs from the water.\u00a0 A slotted spoon would be a good tool to use to keep yourself from getting burned and to keep the eggs from breaking.
\n6.\u00a0 Place the eggs directly in a bowl of ice water in order to stop the cooking process immediately.
