While they may participate in the religious aspects, it is more about the candy and fun for them. One of the fun crafts you can do with your kids to help make the holiday even more exciting is let them make their own baskets. For this craft you will need the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plastic grass<\/li>\n<li>Plastic ice cream buckets<\/li>\n<li>White school glue<\/li>\n<li>Construction paper<\/li>\n<li>Decorating supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Start by mixing your glue with water to make it a little runnier, and then paint it on the sides of the bucket. Once your bucket is covered, you will want to put the construction paper on it. This will cover the outside of the bucket, giving you a fresh surface to decorate. Now, use your decorating supplies, from foam shapes, paint, glitter, markers, etc. and let them decorate their own treat bucket to leave out for the Easter Bunny. Fill the bottom with the colorful plastic grass for that little extra flare.<br \/>\n<strong>Craft two: <\/strong><em>Easter stationary. <\/em>This is a fun craft for kids, and is also useful. It is a way to create something they can use, not just hang up or display. This is also a great craft for Easter gift giving. For this craft you will need the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Notebook of unlined, plain paper<\/li>\n<li>Envelopes (plain white)<\/li>\n<li>Easter stencils or stamps<\/li>\n<li>Inkpads in Easter colors<\/li>\n<li>Markers, colored pencils etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To do this craft you need to first determine the design you want to do on the stationary you are creating for Easter. You can pick any pattern or design you want. You are then going to use the stamps or stencils to apply this pattern to each sheet of paper in your unlined, plain paper, notebook. You can do a different design on each page, or the same. Let it dry, and you will have a great set of Easter themed stationary to send notes, make lists on, etc.<br \/>\n<strong>Craft three:<\/strong> <em>Plastic egg men.<\/em>This is just a fun craft for kids of all ages. For this craft you need to have the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plastic eggs<\/li>\n<li>Google eyes<\/li>\n<li>MarkersGlue<\/li>\n<li>Pipe cleaners<\/li>\n<li>Felt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For this craft you want to start by gluing eyes onto the eggs, and drawing on a mouth. Then use the pipe cleaners and felt to create arms, legs, clothes, etc. You can get as detailed as you want. You can use scraps of fuzzy fabric as hair, or bend a paper clip to create glasses. To make legs for your eggs, use pipe cleaners at the bottom like legs, and then glue felt pieces to either side to make shoes.
