There is a wide variety of craft projects that you can make for Dad that will let you show him how special you think he is. Because there are so many different kinds of craft projects, you can find the ones that match your crafting skills and experience. So whether you are looking for a classroom project or just want to spend some time crafting with your kids (and getting ready for Father\u2019s Day) here are ways you can celebrate Father\u2019s Day with homemade crafts-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Trophy for Dad-<\/strong>Dad will cherish this trophy that lets him know you think he is Number 1!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>What you&#8217;ll need:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 foam coffee cups<\/li>\n<li>5 inch square box (or one cut to size)<\/li>\n<li>Masking tape<\/li>\n<li>1 gold chenille stem<\/li>\n<li>Gold craft paint<\/li>\n<li>Black construction paper, cut to fit on side of box<\/li>\n<li>White paint pen<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Paintbrush<\/li>\n<li>White craft glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Directions for the project: <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Turn cups upside down and trim bottom lips to make them flush. Glue the bottoms of the two cups together. Tape the square box shut by covering the entire box with masking tape. When glue on the cups have dried, \u00a0wrap a piece of masking tape around the middle where the two cups meet. Cut the chenille stem in half and insert into each side of one of the cups as trophy handles. Cover cups completely with masking tape. Paint masking tape on both the trophy and the box gold. Let dry. Write &#8220;Awarded World&#8217;s Best Dad&#8221; on the black \u00a0\u00a0 construction paper with white paint pen. Glue to the front of the box. \u00a0Pipe white \u00a0glue onto the bottom of the cup that does not have the chenille handles. Press onto the top of the box and let glue dry completely.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family TV picture frame<\/strong>-Everyone knows that dads love the television. This will celebrate that, while giving Dad a family picture to cherish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>What you&#8217;ll need:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 empty cereal box<\/li>\n<li>3 sheets tan or brown construction paper<\/li>\n<li>Copy of a 4&#215;6 photo<\/li>\n<li>2 plastic lids from milk or juice containers<\/li>\n<li>1 gold chenille stem<\/li>\n<li>Brown marker<\/li>\n<li>Zipper sandwich bag filled with rice, beans, or sand<\/li>\n<li>Tape<\/li>\n<li>Glue stick<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>White craft glue<\/li>\n<li>Pen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Directions for the project:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Place the sandwich bag filled with rice, beans, or sand \u00a0inside the empty cereal box. Tape the top of the box closed. Use glue stick to completely cover the box with the brown or tan construction paper. Lay the box down on the work surface. Trim your photo to have rounded edges in the corners. If you photocopied or printed your photo onto white paper, trim around the edge of your photo, leaving a small white border around the picture. Use the glue stick to attach the picture to the upper right section of the box. Use white craft glue to attach the two drink lids to the left of the photo for the TV knobs. Use a pen to poke two holes in the side of the box, above the photo (which will be the top of your TV frame). Cut the chenille stem in half and insert each half into a hole. Add a little craft glue to the hole to keep them in place. Use brown marker to write your family name across the bottom, such as &#8220;Smith Family TV&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Tips:<\/p>\n<p>If you prefer, you can use a color copier for your image, though the black and \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 white looks more vintage and matches the design of the TV.<\/p>\n<p>For a more futuristic looking TV, use black construction paper instead of brown, \u00a0\u00a0 cover the lids in foil, and use silver chenille.
