Vincent Willem van Gogh\u00a0was born\u00a0March 30,\u00a01853\u00a0in Zundert, Netherlands.\u00a0 Van Gogh began drawing as a child.\u00a0 However,he did not begin painting until he was in his late twenties\u00a0and some\u00a0of his best works were created in the last two years of his life.\u00a0 Van Gogh was a Post Impressionist artist.\u00a0 His work is world renowned and his paintings remain to be some of the most expensive art pieces in the world.\u00a0\u00a0 Van Gogh painted self portraits, landscapes, still lifes, portraits and paintings of cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers.\u00a0 Here are some of those famous works of art.<\/p>\n
