This is just a fun way to decorate buckets for transporting Halloween treats. Best of all the buckets are highly durable and can last for several Halloweens. For added safety try adorning them with glow in the dark tape.
What you will need:
•Craft foam cutouts in various shapes
•Plastic buckets
•5mm wiggle eyes
•Glow-in-the-dark tape
•Satin cord
•White, black and orange paint (optional)
•Yellow and orange pony beads
•Alphabet beads (optional)
•Scissors
•Kid’s glue, low temp glue gun, or tacky glue
Directions for the project-Start by striping your bucket with glow in the dark tape. Plan out your design for the bucket. If you are looking to do a pumpkin face start by gluing on the wiggle eyes. Adorn with the various foam cutouts (these can be witches, bats, pumpkins etc.) Cover the handle of your bucket with the satin cord. Using the yellow, orange and alphabet beads you can string them onto the handle to spell out a child’name or just make a design. Tie the ends of the cords onto the handle. Using the paints you can then fill in wherever you would like.
