No where is there a more recognizable symbol of Halloween than the pumpkin. Pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes to herald the arrival of fall and Halloween. If you are looking for a fun way to decorate for the upcoming Halloween season you may want to consider doing one of these pumpkin crafts. These craft ideas can be done quickly and easily with few materials and little crafting skills needed. You can use them to entertain children or have some family fun getting your house ready for Halloween. They can be scary or fun depending on the type of Halloween look you are going for. Here are some creative ideas for pumpkin Halloween crafts-<\/p>\n

\u00b7\tDecoupage Pumpkins-<\/strong>This is a great idea if your kids are too little to carve or you want to avoid the mess of carving. Keep in mind that this is less messy than painting and the kids love it!<\/p>\n

What you will need:<\/em><\/p>\n

pumpkin
scissors
decoupage solution
gift wrap or old magazines to cut up
plastic bugs (Optional) <\/p>\n

Instructions for the project:<\/u> Cut out pictures from magazines or gift wrap. Apply a thin layer of decoupage solution to an area of a pumpkin. Lay the pictures over the solution onto the pumpkin. Brush another thin layer over your picture. Continue decorating all around pumpkin. Let dry completely. Apply one or two additional coats, drying completely between coats.
