Being completely groggy, writing was out<br \/>\nof the question. On the other hand, I’m not a very good<br \/>\nnapper, and going to bed to watch television in the middle<br \/>\nof the day just didn’t appeal to me. I didn’t know this until I visited the Birch Aquarium<br \/>\nwith my daughter’s fifth-grade class last week. Besides my fascination with their parenting<br \/>\nstyles, I was mesmerized by their lyrical movements and colorful variety. His bilingual hobby site is home to nearly 200<br \/>\nextraordinary annotated photos, information on the biology of seahorses, and details for those<br \/>\ninterested in keeping or breeding seahorses. Verhaselt’s English is excellent, and the<br \/>\noccasional grammatical error easy to overlook. <\/P><br \/>\n<A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.mbayaq.org\/efc\/efc_se\/se_ssh.asp\"><\/p>\n<h2>Monterey Bay Aquarium:<br \/>\nSaving Seahorses<\/h2>\n<p>http:\/\/www.mbayaq.org\/efc\/efc_se\/se_ssh.asp<\/A><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.surfnetkids.com\/images\/star5.gif\" alt=\"*****\" width=\"250\" height=\"34\"><br \/>\n<P>Although you can’t visit the Saving Seahorses exhibit in Monterey, California anymore, its<br \/>\nvirtual counterpart lives on . “With horselike heads and kangaroo-like pouches, seahorses don’t<br \/>\nlook much like fish. But look again they breathe through gills and have tiny fins for<br \/>\nswimming.” Excellent writing and great photos are a winning combination at Saving<br \/>\nSeahorses. Topics to explore include why seahorses are imperiled and what conservation<br \/>\nefforts are under way. Start your visit with a history lesson on early efforts to learn about<br \/>\nthe seahorse. Continue with seahorse biology, a look at the Gasterosteiformes family tree, and<br \/>\nthe excellent Threats section. The most unique seahorse clicks are the winning entries from the<br \/>\nseahorse poetry contest and the gallery of decorative items found under Inspiration.
