One of the ways they do this is by keeping us in touch with trends in popular culture. If it wasn’t for my twelve-year old daughter, I would never be an American Idol fan. I don’t watch much network television, but Erica’s interest in the show has gotten me involved too. One thing I do keep an eye on, however, is trends on the Internet. And according to my sources, “American Idol” is a hot search term, and getting hotter.<\/p>\n<p>I don’t have a favorite contestant yet, and I haven’t ever voted. But I do watch.
