Feldman\" align=\"bottom\" width=\"58\" height=\"58\"><br \/>\nDear Barbara,<\/p>\n<p>When questioned about my occupation, my husband Howard usually answers “syndicated columnist.” That’s a good answer, because it is something that almost everyone can understand. The truth, however, is that my weekly newspaper column is just a small part of my publishing business, which includes this newsletter, several websites, several ebooks, a membership site (the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surfnetkids.com\/printables-club.htm\">Surfnetkids Printables Club<\/a>) and a couple of blogs. <\/p>\n<p>And, as my newsletter readers know, I often “blog” about my family. Howard, I guess, never realized that. Because it was just a few days ago when he discovered that what I call the Surfnetkids Journal contains lots of stories about us … the real life us. He enjoyed reading them, but what struck him most was the responses posted by you, my dear readers. Posts of support when <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.surfnetkids.com\/dealing_with_tragedy.html\">our dog died<\/a>, when I had a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.surfnetkids.com\/surgery_is_scheduled.html\">hysterectomy<\/a>, when our son was <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.surfnetkids.com\/telephone_etiquette_does_not_apply.html\">“lost” in the New York blackout<\/a>, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>So… from my desk to yours.. thank you.
