The total length of the wall, including trenches and other natural barriers, is 5500 miles. Construction started in 5th century BC with stamped earth and wooden board frames. The total length of the wall, including trenches and other natural barriers, is 5500 miles. Construction started in 5th century BC with stamped earth and wooden board frames.
