They are verbs, nouns, pronouns, articles, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions and interjections. In English, there are many words that can be more than one part of speech, so context is always important. For example “act”, “plant”, and “study” can be all be either a verb or a noun, depending on usage.<\/p>\nBrian P. From interactive parts-of-speech quizzes to zany fill-in-the blank stories, these games are great.
