By reporting the crime you are being proactive which will help pass more laws that will deal with online scams and frauds, not to mention that by reporting it you will be helping to make it aware to other people, including ISPs, that it is a growing problem that needs to be taken seriously. There are numerous places that you can report online scams and frauds, do some research and find out about them all and then take advantage and report the fraud to as many places as possible.
