Windows users that regularly get Microsoft updates, will probably have noticed a small Windows 10 icon in their system tray.
Clicking on it gives you opportunity to get a completely free, 100% licensed and legal copy of Windows 10. Pretty cool. But should you upgrade to Windows 10 now?
First of all, Windows 10 is not available yet. If you decide to sign up now, you are giving Microsoft permission to download Windows 10 to your computer as soon as it is released, which will be near the end of July. So, back to the original question. Should you?
To answer that question, I went to my favorite Windows guru Ask Leo!. He suggests that because Windows 10 is a massive undertaking, most users should probably “wait awhile” before making the transition. He then goes on to provide guidance for specific sets of users. For example, are you happy or unhappy with your current Windows version? Unhappy people should probably upgrade sooner, while happy people have no need to rush into something new.
