In case you missed the news, the bestselling Apple app game Flappy Bird was pulled from iTunes by its creator because the game was addictive, and the author felt an overwhelming responsibility for ruining people’s lives. To fill the vacuum of addictive mobile games, developers everywhere have been rushing to release Flappy Bird clones. Some of the Android wannabees have unfortunately been laced with malware<\/a>. But the majority are simply bad games.<\/p>\n

According to the UK Guardian<\/a>, as many as one-third of newly released iTunes games are Flappy Bird clones. At the moment, the bestsellers (they are all free, by the way) are Flappy Wings<\/a>, Jumpy Jack<\/a>, Tiny Flying Drizzy<\/a>, Splashy Fish<\/a>, and Flappy Fall<\/a>. <\/p>\n
