Swype<\/a> is a free alternative keyboard for Android phones and tablets. Technically it is still in beta, but it recently re-opened its free beta to the public, so now is the time to give it a try. The primary difference between the Swype keyboard and the standard Android keyboard, is that Swype lets you move your finger from letter to letter without lifting it up to make a “tap.” I am a dedicated Swype user, and love it because I hate how slow tap-tap-tapping on a virtual keyboard can be.
