To decorate your front door to welcome your Thanksgiving guests consider making a Autumn Door Bow. This craft will give a different look than just the same old holiday wreath.
You will need:
A large paper twist bow with approximately 42 inch tails. Any color you prefer
Natural raffia
Assorted dried leaves, berries etc.
A picture hanger
A hole punch
Step One
Attach the hanger to the back of the bow to hang on the front door. If you are unsure about this or want to make this extremely easy most craft stores have someone who can tie a large bow out of the paper twist and attach the hanger for you.
Step Two
Thread the raffia through the center loop of the bow (you may want to do this a couple of times depending on how much decoration you want to attach to your bow).
Step Three
Using a hole punch or needle place holes in the leaves, berries or other decorations and thread them onto the raffia. If you don’t make the holes too large, the items should just “float”? on the raffia. When you feel you have what you want, tie a second bow using the raffia. Fluff up the ends to look decorative and you are finished!
